We’re gardeners. We know the power of watching a tiny seed grow into something big and beautiful. Our one of a kind Compassion Flower is the first flower created with a purpose to help spread kindness in a world that sure could use it.
IT ALL STARTS WITH A SEED
To create The Compassion Flower, we worked with horticulturists to hybrid a Pansy which means ‘to think of’ or ‘to consider’ and a Spreading Viola. We wanted it to represent that one act of kindness can spread, just like the flower itself.
COMPASSION FLOWER HAND SOAP
The sweet, floral notes of our unique Compassion Flower inspired our Limited-Edition Hand Soap—because, just like handwashing, we think practicing kindness is a good daily habit.
GROWING COMPASSION—BUY ONE, GIVE ONE.
During the month of September, for every Compassion Flower Hand Soap sold, we’re giving a Growing Compassion Gardening Kit to a classroom —up to 1,000 across the country —giving hardworking teachers a hand. Each kit contains a lesson plan for teachers and the tools to complete a garden-based activity, so students can plant their very own Compassion Flower and watch it grow.
OUR COMPASSION CURRICULUM
To develop our compassion curriculum, we worked
with our friends at kidsgardening.org, a national non-profit who are leaders in the school garden movement.

OUR GROWING COMPASSION GARDENING KIT
Each kit provides tools for a classroom gardening activity, plus a guided lesson plan for teachers, and a Compassionate Student of the Week poster to hang in the classroom all year long. With the purchase of a Compassion Flower Hand Soap, one of these kits will be donated to a classroom this fall.
