I just started using this last night and I'm already obsessed! As I sit here at work I actually wish I was home cleaning! The scent is divine and it makes my kitchen and bathroom literally sparkle! The top of my glass stove hasn't shined like this since it was brand new! I'm switching out ALL my old chemical-laden cleaners for Mrs. Meyers! Can't wait to try all the other scents! Thank you!!

I've been looking for a cleaning product that doesn't make me itch all over or go numb on my face due to a weird allergy I have to chemicals and perfumes.
When I read the packaging on Mrs. Meyers products in the cleaning aisle I thought, "Too good to be true! A household cleaner that uses essential oils, smells great and won't make me itch everywhere or go numb."
So I bought the Basil counter top spray, dish soap, laundry soap, and dryer sheets. It turns out I love, love, love the fragrance which reminds me of the violet perfume a dear British neighbor wore when I was a child, but I was itchy after using it, sad to say. I do need to say I wasn't really itchy, just mildly.
I decided to make a phone call to the company and found out they use perfume in their products as "stabilizers." Boo hoo.
Why don't they say that on the packaging that leads you to think it's made with only pure essential oils, especially when there are those for whom health is an real issue?
If some companies can market cleaners that only use therapeutic grade essential oils that don't need stabilizers (unfortunately they are multi-level which isn't they way I choose to purchase things) then why can't Mrs. Meyers?
Dear Mrs. Meyers, make a Basil line that is purely essential oil, pretty please. I really like the packaging and how well the products clean.
But for now, I need to stop using them until you come out with a product that is in line with what the packaging leads us to believe. Thanks!
