Our Scents

Inspired by Mrs. Thelma A. Meyer’s garden, Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day makes straightforward, honest cleaners that smell good and work
like the dickens on dirt. Our products offer an aromatherapeutic experience while cleaning or doing the household chores.

Each scent combines natural essential oils in the fragrance blend along with top, middle and base notes. Top notes are the lightest,
most whimsical evaporating components in a fragrance; the initial burst that you will notice when experiencing a fragrance. Citrus and
fruits are used primarily as top notes. After some time you will start to smell the middle notes, these are slightly heavier, less airy
components, often called the “heart” of the fragrance. You will notice these as the fragrance dries down and the top notes have
evaporated. Middle notes are mostly comprised of herbs and flowers. Finally you will smell the base notes. Base notes are the
heaviest, most substantive ingredients, meaning they will last the longest. These will be what you smell as the fragrance ages,
evaporates or dries down. The base notes and components stay the longest, often representing woody notes, resins, vanilla and musk.


Basil Scent. Basil has a cool, crisp scent that revives the senses and clears a cloudy head. All that and a sparkling clean house too! Naturals - Basil, Parsley, Eucalyptus, Pepper and Patchouli. Top notes of Basil, Apricot Leaves, Parsley and Eucalyptus. Middle notes of Thyme and Stem Notes. Base notes of Patchouli, Vinewood and Balsam.

Lavender Scent. The Lavender herb is valued for its wonderful relaxing scent that is soothing and is believed to relieve fatigue. Naturals - Lavender and Orange Oil. Top notes of Lavender and Orange. Middle notes of Herbal and Rose. Base notes of Pine and Cedarwood.

Lemon Verbena Scent. Lemon Verbena has a wonderful, light citrus scent that is light, refreshing, and is considered to pick-you-up. Naturals - Lemon Oil, Lemongrass, Peppermint, Clove, Geranium and Fir Needle Oil. Top notes of Lemon, Peppermint and Geranium. Middle notes of Lemongrass and Petitgrain, Base notes of Vanilla, Fir Needle and Clove.

Geranium Scent. Geraniums are said to uplift and soothe the mind with their pleasing and refreshing floral scent. Naturals - Geranium, Rose and Clove Oil. Top notes of Peach, Pineapple, Cassis and Berry. Middle notes of Rose, Geranium and Jasmine. Base notes of Moss and Woods.

Rosemary Scent. Rosemary, with evergreen needles and mauve blooms, is a must for gardens. Aromatic leaves stimulate systems and improve memory. Naturals- Rosemary, Almond, Orange, Lavender, Eucalyptus. Top notes of Lavender, Rosemary and Sage. Middle notes of Ylang Ylang, Ginger and Mint. Base notes of Sandalwood and Patchouli.

Honeysuckle Scent. Sweetly scented Honeysuckle provides an air of calm as you clean. Fruity floral is know to be quite soothing and cooling. Naturals of Ylang Ylang. Top notes of Honeysuckle, Pineapple and Lavender. Middle Notes of Floral green, Jasmine, Lily and Honeysuckle. Base notes of Ylang Ylang, Musk and Honeysuckle.

Parsley Scent. Vibrant parsley has many beneficial uses. The aroma of this hardy biennial freshenes and cleanses palates-and now, homes. Naturals- Eucalyptus, Grapefruit, Peppermint and Parsley. Baby Blossom Scent.The Blossoms of spring wildflowers, butterfly violets and honeysuckle with a teeny bit of apple, lemon and mint. Naturals - Orange, Lemon, Geranium, Clary Sage, and Patchouli. Top notes of Camellia, Apple, Black Currant, Mandarin and Lemon. Middle notes of Spearmint, Leafy Greens, Rose, Honeysuckle, Violet and Magnolia. Base notes of Cedarwood, Sandalwood and Heather.

Scent Free. Scent Free formula is effective and gentle for the most sensitive noses. You can just breathe easy and relax. Ahh.
